Oceanport is a borough in Monmouth County, New Jersey, with a total area of 3.80 square miles, of which 3.17 are land and 16.39% is water. Despite its name, Oceanport does not touch the Atlantic Ocean. The borough forms a peninsula jutting into the Shrewsbury River, with water borders toward Monmouth Beach and Rumson. On land, it borders Little Silver and Shrewsbury to the northwest, Long Branch to the east, Eatontown to the southwest, and West Long Branch to the southeast. Oceanport was formed as a borough on April 6, 1920, from portions of Eatontown Township, and it is governed under the weak mayor / strong council form of government. Named sections of the borough include Elkwood Park, Gooseneck Point, Port-au-peck, and Sands Point. Monmouth Park Racetrack, which opened in 1946, is in the borough, and a portion of the former Fort Monmouth also lies within it. The 2020 Census counted 2,469 housing units in Oceanport. We had one light that didn’t stay in its  clip, and they came right back out to fix it. They communicated well throughout the process, and of course, the lights looked beautiful.
